Journals
This journal front and back cover is a combination of collage using napkins, music papers and book text, stamping and stencils and a layer of gesso. I would say it is leaning to grunge, and the focal point and title are from Tim Holtzz.
The single signature is made up of 20 leaf's which gives an approx. total 80 pages to write on. My journals have a verity of papers such as mixed media, vellum, scrapbook paper and dyed copy paper.
There are pockets and tucks which have a variety of things such as tags, journaling cards and ephemera.
Eyelets with seam binding is used as the closure, and there are beads and metal charms on the dangle.
This notebook has one signature, 11 leaf's, which gives 44 individual pages.
The front and back covers are mixed media with lace along the spine, it is multi coloured, and is a mix of napkins, stamping, stencilling and gesso.
It has a simple baker's twine attached to the eyelet closure. There is an elephant charm attached to the twine. The twine can be shortened or removed if not wanted.
There are a Varity of papers, some have been dyed, some scrapbook papers for example. Each notebook varies in what paper are in them, however they mostly have the same number of pages.
The inside of the front and back covers has pockets and tags, as in the middle of the book, increasing the amount of writing space, and the pockets can hold loose paper such as tickets and receipts.
